Located in Vanderhorst Plantation on Kiawah Island, this non-smoking one level home has natural wooded views and is within biking distance of the beach. The paved biking trail runs right behind the house. Guests in this home enjoy such amenities as beautiful hardwood floors, DVD player, wireless internet access, whirlpool tub, garage access, a large front porch with four rocking chairs, and an outdoor shower, which is great for a quick rinse after a day at the beach. The back porch has a seating area that overlooks the backyard, which will allow you to view some of the wildlife on the island. Because of Kiawah Island's status as a Natural Reserve, you are in the perfect location to see a variety of beautiful wildlife. With four bedrooms, two full baths, and two half baths, the home has bedding for eight but will allow up to ten guests. Guests are welcome to bring or rent additional bedding.

On the front porch are rocking chairs which invite you to sit down for a while and enjoy the quiet island life. Inside, the living room of this single-level home has hardwood floors, a large flat screen TV mounted above the fireplace, a collection of books in the built-in bookcase, and plenty of seating for the family, as well as access to the furnished back porch. The adjoining dining room seats eight guests at the table, and the adjacent kitchen has granite counters, a cook top kitchen island, and seating for two available at the counter plus a breakfast table that seats four, and a writing desk. If you would like to dine outside, there is a table that seats four on the back porch off of the living room.

The master suite has a king bed, its own 21-inch TV and DVD player, and a master bath with double sinks, a whirlpool tub and a separate shower. The master suite also has private access to the back porch. The second bedroom has a king bed and shares a full Jack-and-Jill bath with a third bedroom furnished with two twin beds. There is access to a small screened porch off of the third bedroom and dining room, which would be perfect for relaxing and reading a book. The fourth bedroom is above the detached two-car garage, and has two twin beds, a CD player, a TV, and a private half bath. Please note that access to this bedroom is through the breezeway outside, and then through the garage.

Each home includes free parking, screened porch or deck, initial supply of linens and towels, washer and dryer, color cable TV, air conditioning, starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus local telephone service and 24-hour security in a gated community.
