What is a vacation rental property, and how does it differ from a hotel?

Vacation rentals offer an alternative to the traditional hotel-style family vacations. Instead of small-spaced, two-bed rooms, vacation rentals allow the entire family to stay under the same roof in private homes, townhomes or condos. These properties offer more space and amenities, such as fully equipped kitchens and private swimming pools and hot tubs, as well as a private environment without the annoyances of noisy hotels. You'll be able to personally select the property you want, based on your individual needs. Whether you're looking for a family getaway or a romantic weekend for two, vacation rentals offer more selection, more amenities, more space and less hassle than a hotel.

How do I make a reservation?

We take the reservation, send the confirmation, and are there at check-in when you arrive – just like a hotel experience. ResortQuest has local check-in offices in every destination and full staff on-site to provide the highest service levels to guests, before, during, and after your stay. Are ResortQuest properties timeshares?

No. ResortQuest does not offer timeshares; all of our properties are individually owned. In addition, ResortQuest manages units exclusively, so there's never more than one property management company to deal with, which is one reason why our accommodations can be kept to a higher standard. At ResortQuest, you will never receive timeshare sales pitches or solicitations.

Do vacation rentals come with housekeeping?

At ResortQuest, yes. All our units are professionally cleaned and serviced by ResortQuest between rentals. In fact, many ResortQuest complexes and units offer daily housekeeping.  Our partner affiliates offer a variety of housekeeping services.  Please ask about the housekeeping services provided anytime you book a vacation rental.

Do I have to book a vacation home months in advance?

No. You can book a last-minute vacation getaway, no problem! Of course, guests with favorite units often book months in advance to secure a particular favorite unit, and we do encourage guests to book early to get the best choice of lodging, especially around holidays and during peak seasons.
